The Westervelt Company is vertically integrated, and nowhere is that more obvious than our facility in Eutaw, Ala. The facility in Eutaw consists of a nursery and an orchard, which are instrumental in creating innovative methods and practices to increase forest health and productivity. In the orchard, cones are harvested after controlled mass pollination (CMP), and then planted in the nursery where we grow them into seedlings for planting.

Each year we grow and plant millions seedlings that we use to regenerate our forests once we harvest timber for wood products. Our team works to carefully breed trees that are hearty and healthy. The important work at our nursery ensures that our forests are healthy for years to come, enabling generations of families to enjoy them.
